Luckily it didn't go behind a locked gate for me and I eventually found it. I had to look all over for it because I didn't have an area map yet. Players can then get the flower and take the path again, without any enemies to damage them. So I just got to the Queen's Garden for the first time yesterday, and yeah, when you die your shade doesn't always stay where you died. Then, travel back to the Grey Mourner using the Dreamgate. The player must then find a route to the Traitor's Child and travel that route, killing every enemy along the way without sitting on a bench. The easiest way to complete this quest is to open a Dreamgate outside the Grey Mourner's hut. The closest comparable sidequest in any other game is maybe the pizza delivery quests in Death Stranding, and even that is a bit of a stretch. They must do this without being hit, and without using a Stag Station.
