In addition to commercial production, the 91-acre Shone Farm vineyard also supports a dedicated block of grapes for student instruction. Business-oriented students assist with the marketing and sale of Shone Farm wine, including label design, production of promotional materials, and experience with all three major sales channels. Students have the opportunity to be involved in the harvest, work on the crush pad, and assist during fermentation and all the other technical aspects of winemaking that follow.
